Welcome to Labourfed

The State Federation was registered bearing No.532 on 24.10.1966 under Punjab Cooperative Societies Act, 1961, repealed by Haryana Cooperative Societies Act, 1984.The State Federation has its own office building at Panchkula.
The Objects of the State Federation is Employment Generation through Labour Cooperatives. The main activities of the Federation is to work as Liasion Agency between Labour Cooperatives and the Govt. for securing concessions,between Labour Cooperatives & Banks for loans and between Labour Cooperatives & Work-Awarding –Agencies for works/payments and also to ensure fair distribution of works to Primary Labour & Construction Societies through Roster System.

ACHIEVEMENTS

The main source of income of the Federation is the Contribution amount received from the Primary Cooperative Labour & Construction Societies. The Registrar Co-operative Societies, Haryana has fixed the rate of contribution @1% to be charged from the Primary Co-operative L/C Societies. Out of this 1% amount, an amount equal to 0.80% is credited to the accounts of State Federation and the balance 0.20% goes into the accounts of District Federations.
